Oceanside Industrial Skills Ltd. has been operating successfully since 2007. Located on Vancouver Island the school is licensed to operate throughout BC. Its current certification with ICBC is as a commercial driving school offering training to obtain license certification in Class 1, 2, 3, 4. It is also licensed to instruct commercial air brakes. Offering a variety of courses Oceanside is certified to offer the mandatory Minimum Entry Level Training (MELT) program. Additional programs are driver evaluation, load security, programs on different trailer configurations, hazardous goods, forklift certification, as well as many company specific programs for oil field, logging, dangerous goods etc. Oceanside also offers mentoring programs for safety, highway and large city operation, winter operation. Oceanside has been a provider to companies and corporations developing programs for customer relations, new equipment acquisitions, and efficiency upgrades.
